thanx for your input. I am not on-site, so I do not know where foxuser.dbf is, however, I have other applications that I have created .app's for that run fine. Problem is, I can not create by executable if I can't build the .app and the compiler gives me no clue as to where the syntax errors occur. Is there a trace that can be run during a compile?
