thanks so much for responding. In the fear of sounding ignorant, InstallShield was not "included" with my version of VFP7. I clicked on the link and it appears that is what I am looking for. I imagine the InstallShield Express will do the job.

But what about the restricted files the vfp documentation mentions. It mentions "form" as restricked. I use "do form". Is that going to be a problem?

If your application includes the following commands, it will return the
error "Feature not available." Although you cannot include commands that create or modify menus, forms, or queries, you can run compiled menu, form, or query programs in your application.
