It seems that sometimes reality is weirder than science fiction. Now, the strange news item at
http://edition.cnn.com/2003/WORLD/europe/12/03/germany.cannibal.trial/index.htmlreminded me of my reading, a few years ago, "Stranger in a Strange Land" by Robert A. Heinlein. Specifically, where the news item says "... it was like taking communion".
It makes me wonder whether Mr. Meiwes read this book...
