>I have a problem that uses Powerbuilder front-end and a SQL Server back-end. I have ODBC through VF5.0 and when I try to insert new records and start the powerbuilder program I get an error message. The message would indicate that I am trying to enter information that already exists in a key field. Although this is not true and VF5.0 and Access both show the information as being valid. When I do the same operation in Access, it works!! I would like any thoughs.

Murray,

Use the SQLTrace facility to capture the transaction that is being sent from the front-end to SQL Server. Also, you say that an error is being produced. Could you post the error here. It would be a big help.
