It could be fun! Don't knock till you've tried it dude!

I dunno - when you see n-Tier shops - feeding for years, with the same bait, on the same lack-od-depth corporate benchies waiting to be managers instead, of figuring out how to solve the problem so their company won't have to pay for outsourced expertise - you could say it's stagnent.

The same players have been playing the same shoals for years!

I don't see C# or .NET on winehqs list of software for a possible port to Linux? Why not - JVP?

>I do not know how important MS n-Tier skill sets will be, or how saturated (eg low pay no-namer jobs) that market will offer 5 years from now. Remeber, MS's sucess has been as a market follower - I cannot remember them ever - [truely] making a market.

>How about the RAD tools market? When VB 3.0 came out - there was nothing out there to compete with it.

What the world needs is RAD developers! RAD tools are only as RAD as the programmer using them. It's not the tool - it's how you use it *g*

But, I really don't know about product. I have 18 months of un-read Wired magazines in my book case now! I am always into stuff over my head - I have to live, breathe, sleep and eat at my keyboard.

What does MS share value have to do with .NET or C#?
