I think it's a bug in this perticular version of Install Shield because the version that came with VFP 7 had no issues like this. Secondly, my small lan here has a domain and the domain user that's using install shield and VFP 8 is a part of the administrator's group within the domain. I also tried to include several other security group's to see if I could get around the error but it didn't make a difference. The only way it works is to be administrator on the station and not logged into the domain.
