Does anyone know where I should turn to look for a senior VFP programmer with experience of Web Connection etc.? Is this an appropriate forum, or it is not considered proper? If not, where could I go?

This is the right place, but you probably should post in the jobs section. Just open up the select list at the top of the page that says "More:" and click on "Archives - Jobs"
