It is fairly simple to create a COM DLL in VFP that can be used by other platforms, like an ASP page, or even Excel.

The VFP manual has samples on using CreateObject() with OLEPUBLIC.
There are some examples here in the UT I believe and a good one in the Fox Wiki to get you started:
