Hmm... I don't work with decompilers but I believe ReFox will not decompile an executable that has been "protected" with ReFox. To me, if you don't have source and the executable is ReFox-protected then you may need to look more closely at source code ownership - maybe there is a dispute between a developer and the company.
If the executable is ReFox-protected, and the company has legitimate rights to the source code then IIRC some here have said it can still be decompiled but it is not easy.
