Hi, Grady.
>The articles do not seem to reference a server, but instead have a local path to drive C:
What do you mean. In my article, there is a component in the server that accepts SQL commands that can work against any database on the same LAN. The commands can come in from anywhere.
If you follow the instructions on the second article, you can very easily convert this component in a web service, and thus you can send this SQL commands from anywhere in the world with an Internet connection.
>I have the Com on Windows 2000 server and I want the client to cause the server dll to 'Append Blank' to the table then write the text/wsdl that it accepts from the client to a memo field in the table on the server. I am looking for a code example of this action. Can you help me, please?
I can't clearly understand what do you want to do. Please, give me more details about your requirements, and I'll try to help.
Good luck,
