I tune lots of people out at various times for various reasons (present company excluded -bg-).
In the case of the "certain somebody" you refer to, that person, along with most of those in the same profession, fall into the above category almost all the time.
Fervent wish: on the new HDTV units, can some manufacturer install the equivalent of our wonderful UT "twit filter" ??? I'd replace every TV I own in a heartbeat if one of those was included...
