Hi All,
I am using SDT 6.1 with VFP 7 sp1.
I am having 6 sets of Identical Databases: 3 In the Development envinronment and 3 in the procuction envintonment.
All databases names are the same i.e. the following structure:
c:\test\dbfs1\ap\ap.dbc
c:\test\dbfs1\gl\gl.dbc
c:\test\dbfs1\jc\jc.dbc
c:\test\dbfs1\pm\pm.dbc

c:\test\dbfs2\ap\ap.dbc
c:\test\dbfs2\gl\gl.dbc
c:\test\dbfs2\jc\jc.dbc
c:\test\dbfs2\pm\pm.dbc

and same structure for production. I have two questions:
1. It seems to me that when I use the SDT Explorer to define the meta data for each DB (setting it in a different Folder like dbfs1 and dbfs2) causing a problem and the tables meta data gets mixed up(for example meta data in dbfs1 points to DB's in dbfs2). How do I need to define them?
2.Is it possible to define only ONE set of Meta Data and propagate all modifications to tables or Views to all other databases?
