OK, this is puzzling for me, too. Your description reminds me of printing in text-mode - but then there are some symptoms which don't seem to fit into this model, either.
Since you didn't post the message in the "FoxPro 2.x" category, I assume you are using Visual FoxPro. Did you import a report from FoxPro 2.x (or earlier)?
