Completely stand alone?

Is it networked with access to a SQL database? then you can call select getdate() and find the current time from the database server.

Connected to the internet? There's probably a few webservices/pages that'll return you the current time.

You might be able to find a clock card that can be put into the system and query it to read the current time instead of using the O/S current time.
