Do the DBC and free tables have the slashed circle icon beside them in the project manager? If they do not, when you build the EXE VFP must have exclusive rights to the file so that it can read it to include it into the EXE file.

>Still no luck. It seems like the exe needs exclusive control of the dbc, and free tables. In other words it works fine when our other application is closed. Not sure what to do next as I cannot give it exclusive control. Any help would be appreciated.
