Hi,
Are you using cListObjEdit "built-in" business object or your own bizobj? If you dropped your pre-defined bizobj (ex clients), you have to disable the clistbjedit's business and call ChangeBizObj(loMyBizObj) in grdlist.init. this info could be found from devguide as well.
