I replied to an email a couple of years back saying I would like some info on lindows. MS, through the courts they own<g>, was able to force the operation that made the offer to turn over the names of the respondents - shisssh - I hear footsteps outside my door!

Why didn't this make it to the News Bullets on the main page.

I also heard this storey (maybe it's urban myth). The IRS was going to audit Microsoft. Microsoft then turned around and threatened to audit the IRS's desktop licenses. The IRS audit was dropped. If this storey is true, is this a bribe (payment=we won't sue you if you drop the audit), or is it that legaleze word meaning "intimidation" - what is that word - the last time I heard it was a news special with the storey of Russian mafia arm twisting business men for a cut of their profits.

You'll never see this court action on MSNBC:-)
