No. the framework is not install on the "Glenn" computer. I only want the asp.net application, which is running on the "Neil" computer, to have access to the data files on the "Glenn" computer. Do I need the framework on the "Glenn" computer?

But now I want an ASP.net application, running on Neil's computer, to access data files in H:\GMG (Glenn's c:\gmg). I don't know how to add ASPNET(Neil) to Glenn's computer. I think if I can give Neil ASPNET permission to Glenn's c:\gmg I can get ASP.net access to the files.

>>Does this sound correct? If I run the data locally on Neil's computer, on either C, D, or F drives with ASPNET as a user, evrything works fine. It is just when I attempt to do the same thing with Glenn's data that I hit the wall of "ACCESS NOT PERMITTED".
