Hi Andy,

Just read through some of this and felt the following might be helpful to some extent or another to those who may be lurking.

Steve McConnell is probably best known for "Code Complete", but two other of his books should probably be mentioned in connection with large projects. Namely, "Rapid Development" and "Software Project Survival Guide". If someone wants to get a real handle on project management and hasn't read these three books, they can do themselves a great favor by getting them and reading them.
