>Is VFP- Tahoe (6.0) on the market yet?
+++ No :-(

>Can a Client using VFP 5.0 (or 6.0) do table alteration manipulations to a VFP 3.0b without inadvertently Upgrading to that 5 or 6 Version?
+++ No =:-O No, tables aren't altered between 3.0b and 5.0... SCX, VCX, etc are.

>Reason for asking:
>Growing Pains of our business have brought about the possability of certain users having a newer VFP Version than the MIS VFP production, I know - it seems that we (me) [ the MIS department ] would be the first to aquire the newer Version - but not so for now, I'm Production on WIN 3.11 and they (Engineering) are WIN 95.

+++ Oh, my god. I'm a believer in staying close to your user, but not behind 'em.

Do your users have access to your forms and libraries? Just the tables? Aren't they ever tempted to go in and muck about in them?

Just my .02...
