>I agree with your comments. I will also add that we did not update the case study becuase of the comments, we updated it becuase we (the VFP team and upper management in our developer tools division) had the exact same complaints about it as some people here did. The complaints were correct and valid, so we fixed the case study. It was written by a non-Microsoft employee and slipped through the normal preview process, which is a problem we have addressed.

>Microsoft has no plans to highlight any case studies of applications moving from VFP to VS .NET, just as we have no plans to highlight cases of VB6 or VS .NET apps moving to VFP or any other such example. We do have plans to highlight VFP 8.0 based apps more and more as well as some that show off VFP 8.0 with VS .NET successfully. Then we will look to highlight Europa based case studies on microsoft.com in 2005.

In an interview for UTMag in October 2002 you stated `We found that many VFP developers have not yet upgraded from VFP 6.0, so we are still active in sustaining upgrades for VFP 7.0.` Would you say this statement is also true of VFP 8? In your estimation are many developers staying with VFP 6.0 rather than upgrading to VFP 7 or VFP 8?
