>Have you ever browsed the foxuser files ? And know what they really store ?
>Yes, they are poor to me. Generally set resource off. I can code and click fast.
>
>>Why kill them?! They save all you current environment setting!
>I would kill any file that has to do to nothing more than saving a few clicks for me and causing trouble. Those few clicks would only pay a few minutes at max for me to restore my environment settings but how much would pay to fix them.

I see... haha
>>Such as SET EXACT OFF..... Even Toolbar Position.....
>"Set exact off" and all those "set" could be restored easily. Select "tools\options" and browse the tabs. Toolbar positions could be set by mouse drag. For a quick dock just dblclick. The needed ones open when necessary by default. If you want a particular one just rigth click on toolbar area or select views\toolbars and click as appropriate.

>How much of your environment based on foxuser ? If anything other than development environment (such as ...preference..) than you're in big trouble. It's definitely better to erase foxuser.* that causes just trouble and they're created for you again. All you need is to do a few mouse movement + click to restore your development environment. When used to store "preferences" it's of course wise to backup those "preference" records but not the foxuser.* itself.
