I want to write a Delphi Dll to set and control page length on Dot matrix printers. I am able to get the printer name and a device context and have access to devmode for the printer but when I run the dll in vfp it does not control the printer. I suspect there are other API calls that have to be made but I have no idea what they are. Can anyone give me suggestions? What I plan to do is to run the dll and then print a report form using the vfp report writer. This has to work on win98/xp/2000 and many different types of dot matrix printers.
