Thanks for proving me right :-) The extended CAT5/6 cabling just provides for additional headroom and still keep within specs. Installing new, probably worth the price for the added confidence. Once you take a spare pair or two to handle phone service in the cable, there is no upgrade to 1000BT. Me, I like to pull wires and seperate all data and phone cables. I have done it otherwise in the past, and have always come to regret it.
