A junior college here uses VFP with some of the IT courses. Looking ahead - if the world needs a feature packed scrpting language - Why not VFP. It would be nice if MS could at least use her liasons to suggest schools [look at] listing VFP courses just like theit C++, etc. Young developers typically do not "find" out about VFP until after they've completed school.
>Do you think it would be appropriate for Ken to contact the prospective employer HR person to enlighten them to MS position on VFP.? I do not think that it is enough for a prospect to "quote" MS or to give references, because the employer will either not belive or will not follow-up.

>>"our client has decided not to hire for this Visual Foxpro position as they discovered Microsoft will not be supporting VFP in the future. They now plan to focus on finding a C#/.NET person instead."
