Unfortunately -- NO. Because the report writer creates and applies its own printer settings.

There might be a workaround like clearing or resetting all printer information from report's data -- when FRX is opened like DBF. Check memo fields in the top record, you'll find something like:

DEVICE=hp LaserJet 1000
OUTPUT=USB001
ORIENTATION=1
PAPERSIZE=1
COPIES=1
DEFAULTSOURCE=7
PRINTQUALITY=600
TTOPTION=2
COLLATE=0

and other memo fields may contain default DEVMODE settings as well.

Also consider changing printer settings in the Registry. Take a look ar this key:
