Thanks for your reply! I have defined the view and data environment exactly as directed in the Developers guide on pages 218-220. However, one thing that you mentioned RE-sparked a question in my mind...

"For instance I create a bizness object of CustomerObj I have a dataenvironmet of CustomerEnvironment that I create when using the builder for the CustomerObj. It sounds like this is missing."

Where (on which form, the calling or called) do you create this business object? I see no reference to creating a business object anywhere in the findform documentation NOR in the clientfindform example that came with MM.

This is what I have been questioning in my thinking...how is this all working withOUT a business object????
