thanks alot for responding. No matter how I define my data type, I still come up with the same error, that being data types defined for parameters within arguments or a procedure heading or data types defined for a function in the function heading. I also notice that the mouseEnter and related methods are not functioning. Also, I note that I get no syntax when I run the .app, but only after I have created an executable. Is is possible that all the .dll's are not being captured the exe generator? I am not using the current version of installShield, but a generator that another developer utilized, don't know what it is.
