Yes, you are correct. I added my own business object instead because I want to use the find form from multiple originating forms.

I guess my point of all this was that the documentation does NOT state that a business object is needed for the find form (perhaps it's implied since the whole basis of the framework revolves around business objects!!!!).

The docs talk about creating your View and the Data Environment, but not about the BizObj anywhere. In fact, the MereMortals project manager sample app does NOT have a GRID-related business object on it, nor does the built-in grid business object reference the data environment anywhere that I can find! This all looks like smoke and mirrors to me, not necessarily a BAD smoke and mirrors, just a "gosh, I wonder how this REALLY works?" smoke and mirrors.

Regardless, I appreciate your input on this...these exchanges of information seem to generate a thought process that resolves problems quickly. It's a new way of thinking for me and I am embracing it wholeheartedly!
