Sorry guys - I asked the question and then got sick. So I didn't check UT. The client is on a Novell network but recently added a win 2003 server. They are using a switch (10/100). Total number of users = 50. The program resides on the server (windows server) a very fast dual processor.

The only experiment that I have run was with a Linux server. I put a Linux server on their network (using IP) running Samba. We did this because we were getting a terrible response from the Novell server. Which is how I noticed the lack of cache on forms. The Linux box improved response 20 fold (but they still went out and purchased a win 2003 server - go figure) but I still did not see any caching. BTW the Linux box improved a process 23 times as reported by "set coverage". The process went from 23.8 seconds to 1.4 seconds avg. each for 200 calls - big difference. The routine creates work orders. The Windows box avg is < 3 seconds. But even with the Linux I did not see any caching at the clients site. And again this has not been my experience at other client sites.
