But themes are turned on or off on forms and their controls, right? Where else is there a themes setting that could affect this? Or should I see if I set my desktop to windows classic if it still occurs? I'll do that anyway as a test...

>>I'm in the process of converting some FPD26 screens to VFP8. I have used the VFP7 conversion process for many forms but just recently started using VFP8. It does not matter whether I choose visual or functional conversion when this strange phenomenum occurs. For instance, after selecting visual conversion and typing in a file name for the code to go in when the conversion screen reappears to select font or continue, etc. if you move your mouse over the conversion screen all of the information (labels and buttons) dissappear. This also happens if you run an FPD26 screen (.spr) in VFP8 at times. Any idea what causes this? After the information dissappears, if you move your mouse again directly over a command button the button reappears momentarily.
