Not sure I understand your point. Are you saying that just because most - if not all - the requirements can be satisfied with one tool - that one tool is presumptively the correct choice?
If that is your point - it is not so much with whether I agree or not as the populous out there does not seem to be buying into that logic. If a one stop shopping solution where that compelling, VFP would be much more widely accepted. It also assumes that everything could indeed be done utilizing Fox. And - it also assumes that there is an easily accessible talent pool out there for Fox Developers.
Ken made a statement by getting the case study "corrected". I am not sure however what statement he was making since the case study - in its new form -says basically the same thing.
I will agree that much of the work could have been accomplished with Fox.
