Title:
Trig Calculation....
Hi Anyone,
Given the start and end angles of the arc of a circle of arbitrary diameter calculate the width, height and offset from the circle's centre of the smallest retangle capable of containing the arc. Assume arc is always drawn in a clockwise direction and will never be a complete circle (i.e. same start and end angles)
Any suggestions on the best way to do this. I've got a working solution but it's not particularly elegant. Converting the start/end points to rectangular co-ordinates is simple enough - I'm just interested in pseudo-code algorithms for the remaining part of the process...
Regards,
Viv
