There's a bit of a difference between what the ZLOC script and the M. IntelleSense from the command window does. The M. show you live variables and their current values, whereas in a code window, you really don't have any. The ZLOC shows you any variables that you have declared as LOCAL in your code, but not other local variables that occur in other pieces of code.
