>>>I have a word document placed into a General field, but want the contents (text) copied over to a Memo field. I can manually double-click on the contents of the the General field, highlight all the text and then copy/paste into the Memo field, but I want to do it progmatically. Can this be done? Thanks!

I have tried twice, and I cannot get the cursor to "select" a a range in a general field. You could go tools->macro and record your key strucks and then either replay the macro or use KEYBOARD, as Hilmar suggested to copy and paste.

I'll fool a little bit with it later - but my word dock - it had imbedded screen shots - would not let me select when it poped up in the GENERAL edit window.
