Hi Nick
In the help file it says that the InitTimers() method will stop all running timers. Do you know if the timers are application (process) dependent ? That is, application A has 3 timer setup and running, and then application B (or 2nd instance of application A) is fired and called IniTimers() to setup 3 timer too, are the 3 timers frmm application A stopped or not ?
Also, there is this part here in the remarks of the SetupTimer() methods that's not very clear to me, do you think you could clarify ?
"There are cases, when timer events are generated but VFP cannot execute the specified commands, but number of these cases are less, than at VFP timer object. At these cases the timer event will be cashed but only one event for each timer. (E.g. during SQL selecting events are fired and executed!)"
It says that it does fire even when the Timer object of VFP does not because of the Modal forms over the current form, they don't talk about when the PC is in sleep mode (the os is Windows XP). If I have some time, I'll make some tests today.
Regards,
Sylvain
