Hi Ken

You really missed a very good case study when you did not have the time to visit Norway and my company last June, I hope you can reserve a day next summer instead. My problem is that I simply don't have the time (and vocabulary) to describe the applications we have made for ourself and for our customers. The list of only the special features is three pages. Pure VFP8 code + WWC. Thousands of users, source code close to 3 million lines (in addition to 'VFP-generated') code, all manually type in. No problems whatsoever, one or two support telephones a day to fix user errors. And all is done by one person....!

>>I only hope that Ken sees it the same way and get the thing withdrawn or re-written.

>The CDS case study is on Visual Studio .NET, primarily ASP.NET, as well as SQL Server 2000. It is not a VFP case study. In this one example, CDS is using VFP 6.0 and is not adding anything to it, and have no plans to update the VFP parts. We have no plans to remove the CDS case study. There are a fair amount of companies out their either doing what CDS is doing or they plan to in the future.

>We are working on VFP 8.0 based case studies that will "highlight" VFP. We have a few case study submissions for VFP 8.0, but in my opinion there are more good ones out there. I suggest if you seriously care about this, you will spend time getting more good potential case studies on VFP 8.0 submitted rather than details of a non-VFP case study. Jim, we need more VFP 8.0 based case studies submitted.
