I'm not sure why you'd go to 7 rather than 8 at this point. However, you'll find the key information you need in the Help file in the topic "Behavior Changes ..."

Off the top of my head, one issue a lot of people ran into was that the syntax for variable declarations was tightened up. In VFP 6 and earlier, you could write:

LOCAL x y z

In VFP 7 and later, that raises an error; you need the comma to separate them.
