Actually, I was referring to the ActiveX controls Neil was talking about.

I have actually used the DBI-Tech controls in the dim and distant past with VB, and had pretty similar experiences as you. There was an issue with the ctList as I recall which altered the font, resulting in a grid with characters in the rows so big that all that was displayed was white space. This was fixed reasonably quickly (in a couple of weeks IIRC), but because this was a production app, I had already swapped out the control with vsFlexgrid which I also had.

BTW in case anyone noticed, I got our receptionist (who controls the credit card) to sign up for PUTM, hence my double identity :)
