Hi Marvin. You posted to the wrong person. But anyway, I never switch off bloodhound. And in the corporate edition there is no bloodhound option anymore.
In fact I have never had a problem with NAV even without by-passing VFP data file extentions. I do it only becuase its pointless to scan VFP data files but I have actually not experienced the problem mentioned in the original post on either W98, W2K, WXP. I think it must involve some other issue as well?
