Dave,

>> The best and brightest development minds lead the rest of the pack.
>> With them gone the quality of VFP solutions made will suffer. No more
>> cutting edge best of breed super cool stuff.

I and probably a lot of other people in the development/VFP world find this quite insulting, are the rest of us just producing "non-cutting edge crap"?

>> The VFP Ride was fun while it lasted.
>> It is over.

Most of our customers choose to spend money with us because we produce reliable, technically competant solutions - on time. Believe it or not most of them don't care about DOTNET, one of our customers has purchased 1.5 million (sterling) worth of VFP expertise in the last 18 months (non-vertical).

I am not burying my head in the sand, I find developing in C# and Visual Studio to be *very* rewarding, but the VFP ride is far from over and the decision to stop using VFP will certainly not be because the best and brightest are now doing DOTNET!

Regards
Neil
