Well, I dont entirely agree. But I do think there is sufficient opinion and assumption being thrown around on all sides. And John is not innocent of this.

I think to posit VFP against .Net is flawed from the start. Its like the pointless thread not so long ago about whether C++ or VFP was better. Its like asking whether the screwdriver or the hammer is a better tool. These are not objective topics but subjective in nature. They are relative not absolute. And when one argues subjective issues from a "presented" objective stance then one is as guilty as the other of increasing FUD. For both sides of the issue I might add.
