So VFP will read and process a CONFIG.FPW file, if there is one, in the startup directory. This will apply to PRGs.

A VFP EXE [also] starts VFP, which exlpains why the CONFIG.FPW takes hold when I run the EXE.

>>1)TMPFILES in CONFIG.FPW sets the "work" folder only when EXE is opened, and not an IDE file. DOing a PRG ignores CONFIG.FPW's TMPFILES setting and uses a "hidden" folder that I just noticed is assigned (Tools->Options->Tab:Filelocations->Column:FileType->ListItem:Temporary Files).
