Thank you so much for responding. Sorry I did not get back sooner. Yes I have re-compiled and done a complete build. I think however what you said about the type library possibly not being included is the problem because the .app does run as it should. Some time ago, another developer built the installation procedures in the system that I am working on, that looks for the .app, then creates .exe from the .app. (a process that I am not to familiar with but need to be). There were no strongly typed paragraph or function headers in the older version of the system I am working on.

I think I need to get a new copy of installShield. The installShield that came with my copy of vfp7 will not install (cdRom read error).
