I am just starting to learn Java (I am supposed to teach it, next semester), and I am curious as to the following: How difficult is it to write commercial applications, like the ones you would typically write in VFP? How does this compare to VFP?
I assume third-party tools would be appropriate, for example, for generating forms and reports.
