This is the problem of the customer. If they are stupid and got bussiness decisions according MS advertizing this is their own problem may be they can afford to lose money.
As example:
on the most competitive market in Europe - turist services - one of the biggest operators TUI use VFP apps at 1200+ locations all over the world.
Every year they pay to update their apps with newest Foxpro technologies and to add some features which let them to be more productive.
