>>The argument that vfp developers need ASP.NET(or something non-vfp) to do web development is just plain wrong. I think it can be accepted that ASP.NET probably make some aspects of web development easier than using .VFP. mtdlls called from an ASP.NET/ASP stub(or using west-wind) and has a performance advantage on huge web sites, but, the argument that VFP does not have web capabilities should be thrown out at the outset. In other words, VFP continues to be an all-in-one language that is comparable, more or less, in most aspects to .NET ...

Franco - ah - but your other developers COULD be VFP developers if you're still using IIS with asp and some cool tools:
1. west wind connection.
2. Visual Web Builder (no longer available, d@mn you Markus Egger).
RAD all over the place, once you learn the frameworks.
or
Active VFP
or
Active FoxPro Pages.

but I digress - I'm not in the right thread here.
Suffice it to say if you wanted to stay VFP-centric for your web development effort and do data-driven web page generation - YOU COULD. It's a personal choice at this stage for ya...
