It appears to me that if the tag and tag2 fields are empty then the settings in expr have little or no meaning. If I want to print an 11" form and then print a 14" form I have to reset the printer length to 14 inches. I was unsuccessful in doing this if tag2 was empty. Tag must do something and I would like to know what it is so that I don't get a nasty surprise when 5% or 10% of my customers lose the ability to print! My ultimate goal is to be able to print nonstandard papersized forms programatically. I would imagine that VFP9, with the new report writer will be able to do this, but at this time I can't even move up to VFP8 because a number of my users still have Win95 machines.

What I really find hard to believe is that 15 years after starting to use Fox (FoxBase+), I have less control over the printer than I had in the beginning.
