Robin,
I'm not sure if this might be related. If grid has a parent-child relation and during refresh child alias is selected, refresh doesn't occur as expected.
Try :
-selecting another alias first
-go recno() instead of refresh
- .grid.recordsource = .grid.recordsource
One of these might resolve it.
