it´s not that easy.
First of all you need to link a different library. I´m not sure about the name...it´s been awhile.

Second: the structure of the cdx differs from ntx. If you have a table with 4 indices with NTX you have 5(!) files open. WIth cdx it´s only two (dbf&cdx).
This means that opening the index and setting them is handled differently.

You must do some structural work in order to get it to work.

Once again, I´m not sure about the compatibility of Clipper and VFP. I know that FWP26 had no problems.
